I have lived in South Canterbury since 1981. Following two years of tertiary study, gaining the National Certificate in Business, I commenced employment at ACC in 1992. From then until 2017, I worked in a number of roles at ACC including Case Manager, Team Manager and since 1998, I was also employed in a Technical Advisor role, which involved training staff, giving legal and technical advice and attending many review hearings, along with various other duties. During this time I also graduated from Auckland Medical School with a post graduate Diploma in Health.
In 2017, I left ACC and commenced work as a full time advocate, specialising in helping ACC client's obtain ACC cover and their correct entitlements, through the ACC Review process
